Bought a VW RNS510 (not the RCD510 I originally said, sorry!) for my MK5 Golf and need it fitting. A family member thought they'd have a go then decided against it.

I know of a good independent garage but before I ring them and ask about it, do I actually need an auto electrician?

If so, any recommendations in West Yorkshire?

    This might help...

Thanks Paul - did look at doing it ourselves but decided the risk of screwing it up was too high, also there was a chance we'd need a thing (Canbus?) that seemed like it could end up being a hassle.

ETA - as if to confirm that this task is beyond me, I actually bought an RNS-510! Original post edited.

You could try an auto electrician or any of the dedicated car audio places will do it

If you try some of the facebook groups or VW forums there may be someone locally to you who can sort it.
