E bay often has bargains if you are happy with second hand. I see often people getting rid of furniture due to downsizing / having a change.
Not a sofa but I recently paid £30 for a solid wood Bevel Funnel dining set!YNWA

depending on the vehicle if you stick to certain types of furniture you can get them in the back of a car.
I am a fan of stressless recliners can gtee 2 of them in a smallish hatchback with the seats down.
Surprised how cheap some are on ebay(although the cheapest need some TLC).0
