Hi wonder if anyone can help. Not sure if this is the correct forum, if anyone can point me to the correct one...have posted in the credit card forum also.
My late father had a direct debit for £30 a month initiated in 2009 to a Scottish Finance. There are no paperwork details we have been able to locate and a Google search for scottish finance with a number of additional key words like debt, direct debit, credit card etc through up no answers. His girlfriend believes this may be an old credit card debt but without any information how do we go about contacting them find out whats outstanding and to pay the rest of the debt?
Has anyone got them as a direct debit who could help?
Thanks,
Kara

Why not stop the DD and see if they contact you?Signature removed for peace of mind0

You should be able to get more information from the bank as to who the DD was set up for
They should have the account details of where the money is going.
