I just reminded myself of the share price back in the 90s!

Suspect it might open high today, even though this was known in advance. I like Lloyds, I think they've turned their business around and paying off that debt already is impressive. I'd like to be invested in them, but alas waiting for funds to be transferred from my CISA to my S&SISA.

Like gamblers, we only ever hear of the wins. Tell us about a few losses.

i replied to the OP which was about lloyds. however my losses:

    - sainsburys stock bought 5 years go - still at a loss
    - centrica - loss - bought 4/5 year ago

thats all the losses. all my other positions are all in profit. however todays moves means i am less in profit by a good few thousand pounds (10k or so).

I will be happy when they reach £3, which is I believe a realistic 5-10 year target (Unless the loons get in, then I will revise that down to 30p lol)
The instructions on the box said 'Requires Windows 7 or better'. So I installed LINUX :D:D

I have 4 different amounts of shares in 4 companies that i punted on and some went more in when they dropped after brexit

lloyds - up 25% since purchase
    tesco - up 26%

    but

    topps tiles - down 16%
    william hill - down 7%

however I haven't lost or made anything as i haven't sold, and i certainly won't be selling for less than i paid

then something seriously has gone wrong in my life and it wouldn't matter in that case :)
