tesco deal tokens for hotels

Has anyone used the deal tokens to pay for a room in london? Id like to take the kids to London to see the xmas lights and do a bit of sightseeing, but not sure how easy it is to use the tokens.

You just need to find out which hotel you want to stay in (the ones that participate are listed at www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals. Then just ring the number that's on the tesco deals webpage for that hotel chain. Tell the operator that you want a price for a stay using TESCO CLUBCARD VOUCHERS (this is not the same price as for a 'normal stay'). Then you know how many vouchers to order. Click on the 'order deal' icon and order how many vouchers you need (remember that you need to change £2.50 of clucard vouchers for every £10 cost of deal).

They will send these out in the post (usually quite quickly). Once you have received them ring the hotel back on the numberyou used before- book (again specifying clubcard vouchers). Then you just need to send the vouchers off to the address on the clubcard deal webpage (do this SPECIAL DELIVERY!!!) quoting your reference number that you were given when you booked over the telephone.

That's it! Paid for- just turn up and enjoy your stay!

We have used deal tokens to pay for Hilton Hotels and it was very easy and straight forward, just follow the details given. However please be aware that if you fail to show at the hotel you will be charged the full cost to your credit card. I found this out after my last booking when a letter indicating this was sent with my Hilton Voucher. I don't think this is made clear on the website. We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Blackpool for free using our vouchers and I would use them again.
