A butane powered weed wand is fine, so long as the areas concerned are small to normal. Mine aren't, so apart from sensitive places, I use my wand to start the bonfires and the barbie.
There is the Sheen flame gun, which I probably will buy, when I have more disposable income to dispose of. Looks fun!

I won't recommend Best Weed killer, Before purchase weed killer, read product review.
I use ammonium sulfamate weedkiller. It works well. It comes as crystals that you dissolve in water and then water in.
it will prevent weed regrowth for a while, but do not use it near wanted plants as it is soil acting.0 -

I use flazasulfuron mixed with a high strength glyphosate.0 -
Napalm would do the trick as wellEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Or Agent Orange. Takes a bit longer than napalm0

A weed killer containing pelargonic acid...which is oddly found in plants. The fastest acting weed killer I have come across. Some info here:

Yes, one of these is on my wish-list as well. When I was wee, my granny had one, but I was never allowed to use it, so I’ve coveted one ever since! You can do serious damage with one, if at all goes horribly wrong, though!0
