Wasn't sure where to post
About a year ago my daughter was hit by a drunk driver head on ,This was just before her A-level exams and had to miss various job/apprenticeship interviews.Shes back behind the wheel but very nervous now (hoping to see someone in the next few months)
Her injury's were
Head -concussion (4 weeks)
Neck -whiplash (4 weeks)
Back pain- just started to feel normal after physio but still sore after sitting at desk for long periods
Knee - 2x 6 sessions of physio ,still sore but getting better
Nose- Still very sore with on going treatment Via NHS
Face -left various visable scars on her cheek and nose , awaiting laser treatment via solicitors
Today She had a open offer off £15k and a time limited offer of £17.5k which we turned down both .From what i read just for Face scaring the compensation is between £11-20K alone.
Has anyone else had similar injury's and what sort of figure is realistic.
thanks

What does your solicitor recommend about compensation levels?0

Take advice from the solicitor. Turning down the time limited offer could have other consequences, depending on the wording of it. They are best placed to advise your daughter.0

No point asking on a forum of non-lawyers who do not have access to all the information.
Best relying on the advice of your solicitors.0 -
As above, speak to your solicitor, that is what they are there for.
Just one thing though. Where you say "From what i read just for Face scaring the compensation is between £11-20K alone." - you don't value each injury separately and add it together, it just doesn't work that way.0
