Making offer at closing

I will be making an offer on a property that is going to closing this Thursday.
My solicitor said she will send it 10 to 15 minutes before closing time.....but am i better off taking physical copy of the offer to the estate agents?

Is this Scotland? If so taking your offer to the estate agents won't make any difference. Your offer will need to go from your solicitor to the vendor's solicitor.

No, they'll think you're a weirdo. Leave it to your solicitor.

They'll go to whoever they ask them to go to - but in my experience it's rare for estate agents to ask you to send offers directly to their clients' solicitor (assuming the selling agents and the solicitors aren't one and the same). Usually the sellers' solicitor don't get the offer(s) until after an offer's accepted.

Ah, every time I've bought somewhere the estate agent and solicitor are one in the same.

I thought offers would have gone in sealed envelopes so no one can get advantage

That hasn't happened since the fax machine was invented.
