I can foresee one problem with this, and that's finding someone else who will eat pot noodle for you!

I find that mushroom containers from the supermarkets are ideal for seed starting, same with the ones tomatoes come in - or pretty much similar containers.

We cant always get away from plastic so its nice to make multiple uses out of what is there.

The down-side is that they dry out fast.

I stick 8 marigolds in each, and I can flog as many of those as I care to make @ £1.25, which is a good return on self-collected seed and a bit of compost! :D

Yes, I was astonished recently to learn that Vesta Chow Mein is still produced for those who became addicted as students back in the 1970s.

Apparently, it's now considerably adulterated by things like soya protein, so I wouldn't touch it with someone else's pot noodle fork. :(

Yes, but they are probably not frequent contributors to the "grow your own dinner" thread! :)

OH has a stash of the things in the cupboard for when I'm not in.

I'm repulsed - why would anybody want to eat those when there are Chicken Supernoodles still on sale?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
