Hi,

Hoping someone might be able to give me some advice please.....

Do you need planning permission/listed building consent to update a kitchen (i.e a new worktop/cabinets/doors) on a grade 2 listed building?

We dont want to make alterations to the building or move any walls or doorway....only changes will be superficial. We've had a look online but there doesnt seem to be a "fixed" rule to work too.

Any help would be appreciated.....Many thanks

    Hi,

I saw your PM and replied to that first, but for the benefit of any googlers, no, you don't need permission to change the kitchen :).
