parking fine received but payment made

Hello all
I have a problem in that I received this week, three penalty notices, two oddly enough for the same day and time (no idea here) , for two days of parking at a station car park over the Easter period. According to the PCN , car park charges were not paid, but they were and for an all-day ticket both times, which expires at 0400 AM the following day.
I paid via an online web site for the parking and have VAT receipts under the account on the online account for the days in question showing that the full day amount was paid.
I also checked with my bank, and sure enough, there are two transactions dated the 18th for both amounts paid to the company, which were requested and authorized on the 14th and 15th respectively by the bank.

On checking the signage at the station, I noted new signage had been put up, and that the initial payment site had changed. So when I got back home, I checked the web site by pre booking a days parking via e-ticket and sure enough , I have a pending payment on my account for the same company even through the pay online web address has changed.

I obviously want to contest this as payment was made to the account. I am unsure if the online payment web site details changed over Easter or there could be a possibly that it changed earlier rand i had not noticed, but payment was ultimately taken out of my account by the correct company.

Is there any advice anyone can give me ?
Much appreciated .

  • Hi pappa golf
it mentions "The Bylaws were made under section 219 of the transport act 2000 as amended under the railways act 2005, and an offence has been committed by breaching bylaw14."

bylaw 14(4)ii is also mentioned in respect of allowing vhicles to be clamped

ok , different tact , search for bylaws on this site , indigo (or whoever) cannot proceed when its bylaw land , and will back down if it gets to POPLa ,

await further comments , but you need to use the oemplate letter from the newbies thread , for each and every one , seperate envelopes etc etc ,and await POPLa codes , (that you will not get)

only the train Co can take you to court and that is within 6 mths

the parking Co are playing with smoke and mirrors to con you

Just send the usual appeal template to get a POPLA code, assuming this was Indigo. Easy to beat at POPLA.

Mentioning bye laws at PoPLA results in the appeal being upheld.
