I sent the probate forms off last week so they will have received them by now. Last night I was reading through the photocopy of the IHT205 form and found that I had missed one of the amounts off when totalling up the boxes. There is no inheritance tax to pay as the estate is well below the threshold but I am worrying now what they will do. Will they amend it themselves when they find that it has been missed or will the forms be returned to me? I have a house sale pending so wanted it to go through quickly but worried now that this will hold things up!
