Do you have storage heaters, more than 1 MPAN number or a Warm Wise Meter?


I have switched to Fischer Energy and it is going through at present.


Fischer Energy have no problem with any of these or the £140 Warm Home payment to people on Pension Credit.


This information may be helpful to other people with limited opportunities to switch.

May we ask the reason why you switched?

Thought I'd give this company a go, as it came top of MSE's comparison for my electricity usage profile, although it had insufficient feedback to be directly "recommended".
The quote, although competitive, was a variable rate, with direct debit, which was not what I had requested (fixed price, no direct debit) The agent phoned me within minutes, and verbally offered me the same rate, but with my criteria! Sounded good, BUT he was unable or unwilling to email me a revised Fischer quotation with new terms, for me to consider. He wanted me to switch there and then over the phone, without an agreement or anything in writing. He then said he would ask his "manager" to send me a "private" email quote, outside of Fischer's system, for me to accept. Needless to say, this email has not arrived, and I would not trust such a strange deal if it did arrive!
