Athena - Lidl 2017 Parking Ticket

I have read through absolutely loads of threads including the newbies thread and I'm really sorry but I'm very confused as to what letter template I should be sending and to whom. Some threads say Athena directly and some say Lidl CEO via email. Can anyone clarify this please?

Info about ticket.

The ticket has been issued to a company vehicle and I have been given the task of challenging it.

The van involved went into Lidl to pick up some lunch. He was in the carpark for a total of 30mins. He can't find his receipt and wasn't asked for this Reg number.

I'm really really sorry if i annoy anyone with this question as its quite straight forward but I can't work out the answer from the threads.

Sorry.

Both. Use the IPC template in black from the NEWBIES exactly as it is to the parking scammers, and email Christian Hartnagel, the CEO of Lidl.

Only a week or so ago there was a new poster on here who got an Athena ticket in a LIDL car park and they emailed the CEO and it was cancelled. So definitely follow this advice and let us know what happens.

@OP - well done, and all within the space of a week, following the advice from Fruitcake and safarmuk.

Just as an aside - it is strongly rumoured that Athena just act as a 'front' for Lidl (receiving a small proportion of any paid PCN for their work on the administration of it), but the lion's share passes to Lidl themselves. I've not seen any denial from Lidl.

    Nasty bit of work!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Send the complaint again, to Mr Haertnagel, the CEO. Ignore the reply you had which was unhelpful, and try again.
