New bathroom advice

Hello, I am planning on redoing our upstairs bathroom as its not to my liking, also the previous builder has done a very shoddy job.. (floor tiles moving, shower leaking etc)
This is how the bathroom is at the moment.

Its fairly small and looking to create more space, so was thinking of removing the shower and purchasing a L shaped shower bath and placing it on the wall where the toilet is and then move the toilet behind the bath.
What are peoples opinions on this? or would you just keep it as it is and do it to a higher standard?
Thanks!
