Erasmus mundus tips sought (financing it, accomodation)

I've recently been accepted onto the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Applied Ecology (as you can probably imagine, I'm ecstatic). It is basically 3 masters degrees bolted together, and will include periods in Poitiers, Kiel and Porto Alegre (Brazil)
I presently have £3,000 saved up - by the time August rolls around I should have £6,000 minimum as I'm working every shift I can get and will be selling virtually everything I own. I can also get an Erasmus loan with future finance for another 13,900 euros.
The tuition fee is a very reasonable 9,000 euros, but the travel and accomodation costs will likely be more than the loan and savings can handle.
Does anyone have any other tips on raising cash for this? And for reducing my costs (especially on accomodation in the study cities)?
If needs be I can get a different loan with future finance of £40,000 which would cover it but Id like to avoid that if possible. Any alternative post grad loans you guys would recommend?

Commercial sponsorship? Are there any companies or organisations who might be interested in your research or that you could carry out some research project for while you are doing the EMM?
Bit of a long shot but have you tried crowd funding? Perhaps other who share an interest in your chosen field could be persuaded?
