Holiday cancellation insurance

Please can anyone help , my daughter and her partner are due to go Abroad end of June for 10 days ... brief background , her dad is terminally unwell and in recent weeks has declined somewhat . .. obviously the holiday is in 6 weeks time .. I was wondering if there was an insurance policy that could protect them both with their holiday and monies should anything happen to her sad just before she's due to go x

    Pretty sure since it's an existing situation now it would not be covered unless you lie and that would be fraud and easilly found out.

    If anyone would cover it is would be prohibitivly expesive due to this.
