SIP Claim

Hi all,
I was googling SIP parking and found this forum which has been very insightful.
My partner has just received a Claim form (she ignored previous letters tsk tsk!)
The claim relates to parking charges incurred as a result of breaching the terms of parking at one of their car parks.
My partner initially thought the letter was an error as she had actually bought a ticket for the car park in question (on the date she incurred the 'charges') using the mobile app and entering the car park's identifier. Her credit card was charged for this purchase. The pruchase was made in good faith.
However it later transpired, after she raised the issue of the parking charge with a SIP attendant that the car park had been turned into a car park for 'permit holders only'. There was apparently a less than clear sign to this effect at the entrance of the car park but not inside or at the ticket machine.
When she queried this with the SIP attendant he just repeated the same thing over and over "there a big sign at the entrance".
I have filed an acknowledgment of service and intend to defend the claim. Has anyone else had similar experience of this happening?

there are plenty of GLADSTONES court case threads on here , both ongoing and concluded
just use the drop down forum search box , use suitable search words, find them , do the same or similar as those members have or are doing
(you can do this on behalf of the keeper but the keeper needs to be the one signing stuff and possibly going to your local court to defend themselves)
and read post #2 of the NEWBIES sticky thread too
ps:- no idea how you missed this similar thread
