Exit fees if renting out property?

Hello.
Currently on a fixed tariff with edf.

Exit fees are a hefty £35 per fuel.

We might be moving in with my parents and renting out my property until we find a new house.
Will I be charged an exit fee? Or will the tariff be transferred to tenants?

Might ring edf as it appears on the app I can switch to another (more expensive) edf tariff and not pay any exit fees

They may also be willing to waive the fee if you promptly have them take over from the deemed supplier at your new property. Worth asking them.

They confirmed no exit fees to change another tariff changed to one with no exit fees online took about 5 minutes
