POPLA Appeal Rejected

I have just had my POPLA appeal rejected. My wife parked the car in Morrisons, paid and left within the time period and we still have the ticket as proof. However, she entered the car registration for our other car. I wrote to them and explained exactly what had happened. Initially they offered me a reduced £20 fine, but I was adamant and refused that. They would not back down and now POPLA have rejected the appeal. I cannot understand how this has been rejected, as they clearly have photos of the car entering and exiting and as such dont have photos of the other car, yet are happy to receive the £1 parking fee.

Citizen's Advice say "You should pay your parking ticket" if you formal appeal has been rejected. I have a good mind to sue them for the £1 parking ticket that I paid and have as proof.

Why didn't you simply email Morrisons and get them to cancel it? We never fail, within a week, cancelled. Now you've managed to lose at POPLA, they might not be so helpful...you didn't even have to appeal to PE, let alone POPLA.

The Morrisons' 'donotreply' Head Office email addy that always works is in every other Morrisons thread here for about two years. You should have come here first (or Googled 'Morrisons ParkingEye fine' and found us and quashed it within days:

    http://bfy.tw/Blzx

Do it now, on Google or by searching here on this board for 'MORRISONS' (don't search the entire website, NOT the box top right).

Search 'this board' using the drop down menu on the right above the threads, back on page one where you hit 'new thread'. Easy to find the email addy to use.

Every single Morrisons thread on here for two years has had theirs cancelled. This is far easier than you have made it. Do it right now.

Are you just reading CAB online general stuff about Council PCNs, or are you saying you asked your local CAB and they told you that, about private PCNs? If the latter, please name and shame the CAB because those of us in the BMPA would want to know about that misinformation (that is not proper CAB advice). So, did you ask your local CAB - if so, which one? The BMPA will want to put them right.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
