Living at two different addresses. Does it impact applications for credit?

I live and receive correspondence at both addresses.
Evidently, you can't put two addresses on the roll, I was wondering if it impacts any applications for credit if your address on the application is different to the one on the roll?

I'm similar - I have found in the past that I've been asked to supply additional information (copies of bills, bank statements etc) when applying for cards as they card issuer hasn't always been able to verify my id via the elecoral roll, so now I try to ensure that all cards, bank accounts etc have just one of my addresses on.0

I'm in process of moving some accounts to single address but it'll take a while and I kind of need a credit line soon-ish.
Did they ask for additional information with your electoral roll address or do they only want to know if you can be contacted at the address you put on the application?0 -
Why have you not got it sorted before ?
It might mean it takes longer to do for the reasons p00hsticks states.
Why not get yourself on the ER now or start the ball rolling.0 -

I originally applied using the address on my electoral roll, and would have had had utility bills to back it up, but as the property had only been recently purchased my financial details (bank accounts etc) still all had the other - after speaking to them they changed the address to the one used by my other bank accounts.
just FYI, the two properties are adjacent terraces and lived in as if a single property - but we've never officially merged them, with separate utilities, council tax etc....0
