IVA Question - Creditor wants to edit file / unenforceable

Hello,

My other half has been in an IVA for almost 2 years, but has been out of work on illness / capability grounds for 12 months of that. He took a 12 month break from the repayments following losing his job agreed with the creditors and that is nearing the end of that.

He's received a letter from Nationwide saying they have I identified an issue with some of the statements they sent not fully meeting standards set out in the Consumer Credit Act, and they are 'providing him with some options on how to proceed'
They reference a notice of correction that would 'in this case reflect that we will not take any legal action to recover this debt' asking for him to agree to them making an edit to his credit file, the wording of which I've included below;
please note that this default relates to an agreement which the creditor considers to be unenforceable.

What does this mean?
What should he do? Should he agree?

I'd really appreciate any help.
Thanks

    So the debt to Nationwide is in the IVA?

    And the Nationwide is saying that their debt is unenforceable?

    What does his IP say about it?

    I doubt that it will make any difference while the IVA is active. But if it failed then there would be no need for him to make payment to it.
