    good for me.

Phone line went down on Saturday. Called Virgin at 11 this morning, the chap arrived at 11.50, fixed literally 2 minutes later!!!!! Bad connection in the cabinet at the end of the road.

Very, very impressed (never thought i'd be saying that about them!)

Bit miffed with the Abbey. When I became debt free, I reduced my o/d limite from £1200 to £300. I don't need it now but it felt like a bit of a security blanket. Logged on today and they have withdrawn it!! Bar-stewards.......I still don't need it but thought it would be courteous to at least let me know they were doing it. I guess if I'm not using it, they thought they would take it away!

  • Hi everyone, I'm good thanks.

I have 2 days a week at home and I love it when one is monday, I find it a really good day for being positive about money saving.

Have to go to post office in a minute to send out amazon books, I hate that part as it involves spending  . However, I am really pleased because since payday (fri) the money I have made on amazon has basically matched my spending!

Have lots of chores to do though - dinner, clean kitchen. laundry, diswasher - but its such horrible weather I don't really mind.

Have neglected my daily clicks for the last week :naughty: as they are quite boring, am going to try and start afresh this week.

Well better get to post office, will be back on here later to post on the 'how much have you spent today' thread!

  • Hey all,
Not a bad day, just ran a few errands (new shoes for Joe! £26! AH!) and then we're going to see a man about a dog, lol
Seriously though, we are going to see about a dog.
Freya at school, Joe just veggie ion front of TV and I am doing laundry etc.
Ah, days off! so much fun.

  • thanks ia - I keep trying to explain why I am fed up to my OH but I can tell he doesn't 'get it'.

And even a few weeks ago I was a bit ignorant of how I would feel - convinced I wouldn't get impatient and would wait until babe is ready and not mind if I went overdue - now I WANT HIM OUT!!! Fed up of not being able to walk properly and going to the loo every three seconds and getting out of breath over nothing, as for putting shoes on don't ask, lol...

I'm good too. Hubby called this morning to say he's coming home tonight, ok, at about 2.30 am. Then He's working tomorrow in London at the digital download awards (which I might go to) but has a day off wednesday:T

Then he goes off again for another month or so. I'll go and join them for the odd date here and there. I'm torn, on the one hand I'm regretting my decision to leave the tour (money was very nice and spent time with DH) but I miss the kids too much and they are too old (term time..) to join us.

Anyway, best not to think about all of that.

My cold is feeling better, so I've decided to try to cook something today so I can have a nice 2.30 am dinner. This could turn messy.

He loves Itallian so I'm going to make breaded mozzarella things with a red onion chutney (bought the red onions and a ready made jar of it in M&S incase things go to pot). Beef bolognaise linguine with chilli and Ice cream.

There is pizza in the freezer just in case :rotfl:
