emusic is a con - Warning

Just to let you guys know, i signed up for the free trial on the emusic service, cancelled immediately and they charged me my first month of music rental regardless. I emailed their customer service and they wouldnt refund my money. This service has a really poor choice of music and they charge you for the free trial... please dont fall into the trap i did!

it's a shame you had such a poor experience. mine was much better, did the free trial, got cash back and wasn't charged for free trial.

it's true that the music selection doesnt include all the latest chart releases, however, it does have a good range of alternative music and occassionally they get some good current stuff, like they had white stripes icky thump when i joined and latest paul mccartney album (if u like that kinda stuff)

One persons bad experience doesnt equate to a con. it's collective bad experience that makes it a con. im sure others have had mixed results with this service, but all i can say is i got what i wanted from the service and it didnt cost me so im happy.

They do have an awful lot of bad reviews though, just do a google search.

can anybody point me in the directions of the iTunes offer of 10p downloads. I cant remember where I saw it and doing a search didnt turn up anything.
