Connecting two Yahoo email accounts

Sorry, if this has already been answered, I've done a search and can't find this info though.
I have two yahoo email accounts, one personal and one sort of for work, I want to link the two so I don't have to keep signing in and out all the time to get to different emails.
I've followed the set-by-set bit that Yahoo has for doing this but it doesn't seem to have worked, does anyone have any idea why this might be?

not really a direct answer to that but there is a workaround which is if you install & run Firefox (Internet Browser) and then install IeTab on that you can run one account in the Firefox tab and the other account in the IE tab I'll do a picture to show you what i mean0

There is a possibility you can merge (rather, import) the accounts into Microsoft Outlook. Only snag is that you probably won't be able to access them remotely.0

Thanks PistonBroke, I know what you mean so don't worry about posting a pic.A Life Less Simple - one day I'll get there0

Thanks for the suggection Charmed-Imsure, my biggest problem with that would be I work from 3 different offices and often need to get at my email from all of them so I don't think that would work.A Life Less Simple - one day I'll get there0

I would work if you checked the box "Leave a copy of messages on server", so that they could be retrieved from any of your offices. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Google don't. I have my main account with Yahoo but my many others are with Google mail. Google let you forward the message to any other address for free. I therefore just set up filters in Yahoo so they all get delivered to different folders in Yahoo.
The draw back with this is. You need to sign in to Google to reply but not a problem for me.
Otherwise use Google for both maybe?
Hope that helps a little.Regards,
Dave

Does the work account have to be Yahoo? They charge for anything other than a normal service and I'm sure you can't get it in Outlook anymore for free.
Yes you can! Set up an account for someone only yesterday. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I would guess that you always sit at the same station in each office? If so, I also guess you have to log-in with a password? Therefore all your settings are personal to you and in that case I'd just configure outlook on all stations you work from0

Thanks for all the help.
When I say it's a work email, what I mean is a work as a freelancer and have just started selling handmade bracelets/earrings on ebay. I'm also hoping to set myself up with some freelance writing soon as well, so that is what that account is for. I think it might well be set up as a personal account.
Currently both my Yahoo accounts have a 'check other mail' box on the left hand side of the screen. I set this up when I noticed that when I write an email the 'from' box had the opition of 'add mail accounts/edit accounts' next to it and I can send email when I'm logged on to say my personal account from my other account just by changing the 'from' address in the drop down box and it comes out just like I've sent an email from my other account at the other end.
When I go into the 'check other mail' it comes up with a load of setting for things like the colour that you want mail from other accounts to be displayed in but I've never yet had mail come through for my other account. It does say that 'Only POP mail servers are supported at this time' does that mean anything to anyone?
I guessed that if that's all Yahoo can support then that the kind of server they are.A Life Less Simple - one day I'll get there0 -
i use a little programme called emprompter
www.eprompter.com is th ewebsite and you can read/delete your email
the only thing is it displays the text and the hyperlink within the emails not any attachements etc
its uselfull becuase you can keep an eye on all your email accounts within one program and if you need to get at an attacment you can then go into the applicable mail address from the broswer
its sits in the bottom right hand conrener and flashes when you have mail0
