And on CW at least they are actual CCTV images. If CCTV images are that bad, how could anyone expect ANPR images of a car number plate would be good enough to identify who was driving?

    There's lots.

    Do nothing.
    Appeal it.
Ask the retailer to get involved.
Ask the private company to stop sending letters.
    Pay it.

    That's conflicting advice.

Where on here does it say to appeal in Scotland? The same with pay it and ask the company to stop sending letters? If you can point out that advice we can correct it.

No - there is only one completely viable course of action in Scotland and it is fully and completely explained in the Newbies Sticky.

Where does the forum EVER say 'pay it'?!! And appeal a Scotland one? Where do we say that? Only if it's a lease/hire car, of course.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There is no conflicting advice in what the experienced regulars have told you with regards to PCNs in Scotland. There are two options, with explanations on how to help you decide. Everything else you made up as it is not in the NEWBIES or in any post here on this thread.

Hi, I'm back on here because after receiving a few letters demanding money for the PCN in May last year I never heard anything after that. I never bothered to contact the retailer or anyone else and just left it.

But today I've recieved a notice from a debt collection service saying they have been instructed by Parking Eye that I make payment otherwise they will be advising PE take legal action.

Do I still ignore? Is it too late to contact the retailer and ask them to get involved?

    Thanks

Back in May last year it was Highview chasing you, now it's Parking Eye; are you sure?

Which debt collection service is chasing you?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Sorry I've just checked it's definitely PE. Not sure why I said High view, I had been reading lots of threads when I originally I must have mixed them up.

The letter says Stirling Park Debt collection Services.

Final demand letter on behalf of PE and will be enforcing action against me unless I pay within 14 days...
