Buyers not instructed solicitor?

Four weeks on and it appears our buyer have not instructed their solicitor (just found out).
What should we do?
They've had their mortgage valuation done so am quite surprised.

They must have put solicitor details on the mortgage application, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible to submit it.
Perhaps they are waiting for the valuation or mortgage offer and once they are acceptable, they will hand over the signed terms of engagement and pay the search fees.I am a mortgage broker. And I thought ours were slow having not instructed their solicitor a week later! It's something I've always done immediately when I've had an offer accepted.
Perhaps your buyers are first time buyers and are unaware they are supposed to have done it?0 -
Get onto your estate agents. Ask them to find out what's going on.0
