I have 1000mm pan drawers from DIY Kitchen.com
Even when you think that the doors are the same size with different manufacturers, they all all have their own very precise mm measurements and different fixing points so they don't fit each other's units.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Why not post pics and we can advise you on what you could do.
It may not be the units, but the lighting/furnishings?
We have white high-gloss units in our house, moved in 2 years ago. Previous owners installed kitchen around 10 yrs ago and it still looks fab, clean shiny high-gloss. Think its a B&Q kitchen too (bet it didnt cost £20k though!)
Perhaps you meant £2k? Typo?0
