What's happens to a ccj

Hi everyone I'm going to be paying a ccj of in full on the 19th this will be the deadline for the 1 month rule.

Will the ccj be completely removed from my credit without trace or am I just as better off paying it in monthly instalments??

It's only for £430 thanks for any help. I'm not going to pay in full unless it comes completely of my credit file.

Pay it sooner, not on the day to avoid any unpleasant surprises. And as long as CCJ is paid, in full, in the 30 days from the date of judgement then it will be like it has never existed.

As long as you get a receipt or proof of sending the money you would be able to take it up with Trust. The system is a bit hit and miss though - plenty of people don't pay or pay late without a CCJ going on the credit file.

I'm no expert, but I beg you to pay it in full.
Paying in installments after the deadline means the CCJ stays on your file for 6yrs regardless of if you've cleared the debt.

It is by far better to not have a CCJ on your file than to have a CCJ that has been settled on your file

6yrs is a long time for the sake of spreading the cost of £400!

    Pay it!

Hi everyone I'm going to be paying a ccj of in full on the 19th this will be the deadline for the 1 month rule. I would not be leaving this until the last minute. Be prudent and ensure that payment is made a few days before the deadline. FYI - the deadline is 28 days, not one month.

Will the ccj be completely removed from my credit without trace or am I just as better off paying it in monthly instalments?? If you pay within the 28 days it will not appear on your credit file.

It's only for £430 thanks for any help. I'm not going to pay in full unless it comes completely of my credit file. A settled CCJ is viewed slightly better that an unsettled one. Six years is a long time to have your record tarnished and, at some point, you will regret this approach.

Some adjustment in your thinking here is likely to make the next six years (and beyond) less painful for you.
