Soiunds simple, but proving to be pain. Our A4 2003 convertible has a rear light out, removed the bulb/lamp but cant rear the engraved details on it, and need to replace it. Ive looked in the handbook, nothing. Even asked on an Audi forum, nothing.
Anyone got any ideas please, how i can find out the correct type and wattage?
Im not near any Halfords or auto centres this week otherwise I'd just pop in and ask them...

You're not giving us much of a chance to help, are you?
Which rear lamp?
Brake light
Side light
Indicator light
Reversing light
Numberplate light
Fog light
Is it a single or double filament lamp?
Personally I'd look here:

Their data is pretty accurate, priced not the best, but then I tend to buy in bulk (always going to need car bulbs).“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Curiously, I can't remember the last time I replaced a car bulb (and neither of my cars has LED lighting). They seem to last for ages these days.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
