I accidentally parked in a 'staff' space today that had the remnants of a disabled sign under the blue paint. The sign saying it was for staff only was on the back wall, and as i reversed in, i did not see it
I had my disabled badge in the windscreen on clear veiw. Do i have to pay the astronomical £85 fine?

you only have to pay if a judge says so, in court , although the "astronomical" charge is no longer an issue post BEAVIS
