Help With Vehicle Control Services Appeal

I have received a PCN from Vehicle Control Services (VCSL) in the post.
I have read the NEWBIES thread and have used the suggested IPC response as part of my on-line appeal, responding as the registered keeper of the vehicle.
However, on the online appeal form you have to choose a 'Reason' for the appeal from a drop down list, none of which seem appropriate.
The nearest is 'Charge not received: I was not aware that I had incurred a Charge Notice'.
It will not let you submit the appeal, until you have identified a reason.
I would appreciate any guidance.
Thank you.

Is there an option for, the event never happened? That's what we usually suggest if it is available.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0

Thanks for the suggestion.
There is the following option:
'Contravention Not Occur: I did not receive the Charge Notice on my vehicle'
I am concerned that by using this reason and the one I quoted above I am implying that I am the driver.
I have also looked to see if there is an option to email an appeal, which there isn't.0 -
There are a number of other responses linked to 'Contravention Not Occur' including:
I was authorised to park
I did not park for the stated time.
There are others also , but I don't think these are relevant:
I was not sent the charge notice in the post
I was stopping to answer a phone call
I was stopping to ask for directions
My vehicle was not in the car park at the time the contravention occurred
There was no signage at the location indicating any restriction.

Wow that's a pile of steaming rubbish, isn't it? Clearly designed to find out who was driving. I'd go with the one you first said. Then just ignore them until BW Legal start the inevitable legal threat letters and the court claim, which is the time to respond again, of course.
Same as here:

That's all you do re an IPC firm's fake PCN. Challenge once then wait and see (NO to IAS!!) until the real threats start.
Small claims are where these are won. BW Legal are not successful against our defences.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the advice, I have now posted the appeal.
I will avoid going down the IAS route.
It's now just a matter of waiting......
Have a great weekend! :T0
