which bit of the template is the annexe A?
The bit that says Annex A!Can you point me in the direction of any new templates I can send which are relevent to me as someone who has missed their appeal window and cannot submit an appeal online?
Come back if they survive the winding up petition and if they actually try a small claim. I presume you've read all the posts from today, like I have after a 10 hour day at work, and have seen bargepole's thread about the case he won v UKPC today?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok. Just from reading other threads people have advised to have a paper trail. That is all I am trying to do.
So your recombination is to ignore DRPlus completely. And to send the above template to UKPC but take out the section on Annexe A and wait.
That sum it up correctly?0 -
I wouldn't contact either of them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well this is confusing as I have had someone else called fruit cake advise me to contact UKPC and read both those templates earlier today and OK'd them. Obviously loving this website and all its advice and support but now I have been given two very conflicting pieces of advice. To a non expert, despite reading the newbie thread several times its still confusing.
In other threads, the one linked in Newbie thread says:
"Tell the debt collector that the debt is denied and they must refer the matter back to their client - further correspondence will be consider harassment.
then 'appeal' (or challenge) the PPC. Of course, they will quite simply say that the appeal window is 'closed' and you either pay or go to court. You could be proactive in the response and say that their appeal windows are arbitrary and any refusal to consider one will impact their ability to claim costs should they proceed to court."

Is it not better to have a paper trail to show that I haven't just ignored it? In red in bold is says everywhere, Dont pay it but dont ignore it?0

Haven't read those posts yet. Will read them now! Thanks0

You have passed the appeals stage to UKPC don't waste you time.
Debt collectors should be ignored do not get into communicating with powerless muppets who will give up after a few begging letters with scary fonts of doom.
Coupon Mad is one of the most knowledgeable posters on here, if she says don't contact them take her advice, you have missed the paper trail stage.
You should however edit your first post as it identifies the driver to anyone with a modicum of detective skills!0 -
Hi there,
I have previously posted on this forum and received the advice to ignore all letters from Debt Recovery Plus until it is passed on to the small claims court. I have received 3 letters from DRP and now I have just received the final 'threat' letter reminder from them before they are going 'to refer this back to client to go to the claims court'.
I am currently applying for a mortgage and due to exchange shortly...I know it is probably just a threat on the letter but I don't want this to cause any trouble. I was too late to appeal with UKPC because I didn't receive the letters until it had gone on to DRP. The initial ticket was given because the car was not in an allocated space, despite this not being clear in a very busy car park with traffic everywhere.
Is the best thing to simply still just wait it out? At the time there was discussions on here about how UKPC were going to court and might be taken down by HMRC. They are giving me until 24th June to pay the balance...

There is no balance or debt. Ignore DRPlus, they can't litigate.
If UKPC try a small claim they will likely use SCS Law who would have to send a Letter before Claim first. And we win pretty much all cases, no CCJ, no effect on credit rating (even if you lost, no CCJ if a person then pays what the Judge says, typically £150 ish). So, no point paying anything until the fat Judge sings!I am currently applying for a mortgage and due to exchange shortly...I know it is probably just a threat on the letter but I don't want this to cause any trouble.
Same as everyone here.Is the best thing to simply still just wait it out?
Yes, come back at LBC or claim stage and read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread. We wouldn't tell you to do anything we wouldn't do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
