If the OP is interested then Nationwide Building Society are one of the banking organisations using Trusteer, and I doubt they would suggest using it if it really is scamware.

If you go to "nationwide dot co dot uk" - then search for the words 'trusteer rapport' it will give you a link to a how-it-works page which explains the features and benefits and how to download and install it. You don't need to be a Nationwide customer to view the relevant pages.

There are significant problems with trusteer rapport, eventhough its I s recommend by several banks.

It's by no means a simple decision.

Many people on these forums have removed Rapport as it is basically a keylogger which in my case slowed my system down by an unacceptable level.

Same here, it slowed my laptop down so much that it was difficult to use. I wouldn't use Rapport again if they paid me.
