    I had my offer accepted on 5/5, then applied to Nationwide via a broker on 8th May, I've still not got a formal offer of a mortgage and the valuation has come back fine (was done on 15/05). Mine is a fairly straightforward case too.
    I know it's only been just over 2 weeks in my case but I'm emailing the EA often to provide an update for my seller as I'm worried they'll think it's taking ages. Definitely a stressful time for all involved.
    I know nationwide are only processing documents received on the 17/05 at the moment so maybe that's the delay. As I understand it, being self employed can cause further delays in terms of documents needed.
