Fitting front & rear cams?

Or buy one like mine where the rear camera simply plugs into the front camera. One wire no messing. Rear cam came with a bag of fitting for just about any option. Sticking to the glass or to the frame around the glass to tucking under the rubber seal and several other options.
Or get a dashcam with a remote box where you simply plug the 2 cams into that and you hide that box out of view.
Could've replied like you did - helpful.
But moving on. Thanks for the response. I am off work this weekend so i think i'll take a trip down to my local car electronics place (no not Halfrauds, a proper shop) and have a chat with the guy to see what he recommends, the charge & what's involved.0 -
Have a look at a thread from BedsitBob from a couple of weeks ago, a front and rear camera set from Tesco was £36, got one myself and its excellent. I fitted it just tucking the wires behind trim. The rear camera I added a feed from the reversing lights using a scotchlock, when you select reverse the camera view changes to the rear camera so it acts as a reversing camera.
The video is recorded to a micro sd, (not supplied) and records two files, one for forward view and one rear. I recorded a trip tonight and played it back and realised how dirty my car windows are.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0
