Just wondering if anybody is using this tool?

I am complaining to Lloyds Bank for a missold Silver account.

I entered the details on Resolver on Monday (8th May) and have had a voicemail left from Lloyds Bank on my mobile this evening.

I would like some advice please, do I need to speak to the bank or should they be going through Resolver?
I am wary in case I say the wrong thing to the bank?

Edit: I have also looked on their website for info.

Thanks!

I used resolver to get a PPI refund on a loan from Lloyds that was over £20 years old. I got updates via email and I think txt message. I didn't need to speak to anyone regarding the claim.

You can do both as there's the option to add whats been said on the phone...id just stick to resolver and its all documented for you.

Good service when you consider its free.

I used Resolver for a package fee reclaim vs Barclays. Other than the initial form, nothing else was done via Resolver. Barclays wrote to me a couple of times and phoned me once. You can't say the wrong thing on the phone if you tell the truth.

    Thanks for the replies.

I appreciate that I can't say the wrong thing by telling the truth, but it was more that I didn't want to agree or give information that I shouldn't.

Should I advise Resolver that Lloyds have tried to contact me?

I used resolver for PPI on 3 old credit cards. Within 7 days 1 replied saying they cannot trace account (possible) another 1 sent me £2100. I had to do nothing, still waiting for the 3rd reply. I would let resolver do the work.

    Ok thanks.

From what I have seen, Resolver do not handle the complaint, as such.

So I assume I have to communicate with the bank, Resolver just gave me the template letter?
  • Used it a few times and wishing I hadn't - messages seem to get lost. I would just download a template.

  • Used Resolver a couple of months ago - not heard anything from the bank
