Invoice Software for a Mot Garage

Options
Hi All,

Looking for information on Invoice software that small businesses use.

Specifically for the garage repair business / Mot Garage,

I have googled this and came up with a few but I would like to know which ones the good people on here use and any recommendations that they may have.

Thanks for reading this,

All replies greatfully recieved,

Regards

I must be honest, I would go for a complete accounting package like SAGE Line 50 - bespoke software is usually very pricy. You will be able to control your stock, run invoices (these are easy to personalise and you can buy SAGE Invoice Blanks for printing on but you can also use plain A4, credit notes, purchase orders, cheque runs and VAT returns too. You can apply codes to different job for easy pricing - eg clutch change 00001, service 00002 and use these on invoices.

Also you will be able to keep an eye on how the business is doing, print off balance sheets, Profit and Loss accounts, Debtor reports so you know where you stand at the touch of a button.

I don't work for SAGE but I do have experience using it and, once set up, it's easy to use on a day to day basis and your accountants fees could reduce because you are doing the work not them!

  • Thanks Mike,

It sounds just the trick, I will look into that.

    Thanks again,

    Richard
  • My company makes the software you are looking for. We offer a free on-site demonstration, and a demo cd as well. Prices are reasonable!!

Sage line 50 only fi you have lots to process. An access database would suite and you can do your accounts in excel.
    Kind Regards

I would have thought SAGE line 50 would be too expensive and too heavy duty, though there are other SAGE products - SAGE Accounts etc.
