    You can search autotrader and filter by insurance group.

    Some models that come up are

    Fiat Panda
    Peugeot 107/207
    Kia Picanto

    If you can find a Picanto with history, they seem OK. There are some 2010 cars out there at your price and they came with a 7 year 100k warranty!

    I'd also give the C1/107/Aygo a vote. My mother has one that I drive occasionally and, while you wouldn't want to tour Europe in one, they are decent enough daily drivers and economical.


    One caveat. They are often bought by elderly drivers and so there are some very low mileage ones around. This isn't necessarily a good thing.
