A friend of mine has defaulted on a mobile phone contract and has now got a letter from a debt collection agency called Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions (Paycars). The amount is for £26 so I said I would pay it for him until he gets a salary from his new job. However, I have tried numerous times to get on their website to pay but each time I am getting messages "the site cannot be reached" or "this page cannot be displayed". I have tried different browsers but still cannot get onto the website.
Does anyone have any dealings with this company? It seems a bit iffy to me

Thanks for the link White Swan but still not working. This link took me to the CARS website but then when I clicked on "Make A Payment" it took me to https://www.paycars.co.uk which is the website I was told to use in the demand letter and the same happened again so still no luck.0

Be very careful when making a payment on behalf of someone else.
You might find your details use again if further debts arise.
Much better if you ask them to send you a BGC to pay at a bank.0 -
Yes I agree - definately don't enter your card details etc to pay this...0

There is a 'contact us' button which enables you to fill out a form - ask them to send you a payment slip or ask if another way to pay without a card.0

Or just give £26 cash to your friend and let them sort out their own debt.0
