Hi, I'm looking at buying a couple of these. Has anyone got them? Thing I'm wondering about is if they wear well and keep their shape?
Thanks

OP did you end up buying these sofas? We're looking at them ourselves and wonder how they wear vs more expensive ones.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thank so much for taking the time to post those - seems a mixed bag (as with all reviews) - I am dragging OH off at the weekend to check out Ikea vs the same style but in a more expensive outlet so we shall see.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We bought a three-seater Stocksund in February this year. Our choice was restricted by needing to get a flatpack sofa which would fit up the stairwell, but we've been pleased with it. It looks smart, is comfortable and seems solidly built. A definite plus for me is that the covers are washable and also that you can buy replacement covers if need be, or just for a change of colour.
I read reviews before buying, too, and the main issues seemed to be the cushions sagging/compacting over time. Ours is still fairly new so too early to comment, but it's held up well in the first six months. The back cushions can be rotated which should help with even wear (but not the seat).
Any questions, happy to answer!0 -
Just to follow up, decided we couldn't justify the more expensive ones so went with Ikea. Actually managed to assemble them without any domestics so bonus there :rotfl:
We're really pleased with the colour, can't really say about how they're wearing as we've only had them a few weeks but so far so good. Given the cat has blessed them by curling up nightly since the weather turned and food already being accidentally dropped on them () I'm rather glad we went for the less expensive.
I saw the other ones we were looking at on a second hand selling page and tbh the cushions on them looked like that had also sagged / flattened a lot (I don't think they were that old either) could have just been bad photography but looking at the pics you wouldn't have known how much more expensive they were vs Ikea imo.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
