URGENT HELP PLS! - Gladstone Letter before claim

Hi Guys,
I am new on here and completely baffled with the whole PCN appeals rights and all, so sorry for my ignorance.
I have received a letter today from Gladstones solicitors for a PCN issued o 10/09/2014. It states I have 14days to either pay in full or respond with a full account of the circumstances and confirmation of who the driver of the vehicle was at the time and their current address. Unless a satisfactory response is provided, we are instructed to start proceedings against you without further notice.
The PCN was issued on my flat premises. We did not have underground parking back then, and would normally request the concierge to open the gate and allow us to park below our flat to take shopping upstairs. I do remember receiving this PCN, and ignored it based on the multiple forums online. I vaguely remember receiving 1 or 2 follow up letters, however cannot recall if i received a 'notice to keeper/owner' letter specifically. I am now unsure of what to do and how to tackle this. Should I speak to my landlord and explain this and ask them to cancel it, or contact PCM, who are the parking management, or reply to Goldstones??
Thanks in advance for all the help.
P.S The letter is dated for 2nd May, however I only received it yesterday, 8th May. so I only have a week to reply if I take 14 days from date of letter
