I am a bit nervous about posting as I have just discovered this great site so forgive me if this subject is already on the boards some where.
My question is how do you get your money out of your internet account with them.
Have other people found them easy to deal with?
Thank you

Do a transfer/payment from your SB account to the one you want to move the money to - just like any other internet access account. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

You can transfer in money from your current or whatever account easily from that provider's website, or alternatively send Sainsburys a cheque. You can ring them and ask for payment slips and envelopes etc if you do not already have these. To get the money out, it is a bit different. You need to set up a payment mandate on the sainsburys bank website. The instructions on how to do this are on the website. It is therefore a bit different from other internet banks such as Icesave where you have one or more linked accounts to transfer in and out of. I must admit I found this a bit confusing initially (wasn't sure what 'payment mandate' meant), but once you have done this it is straightforward.
IMHO it is a good account, with good customer service and good rates. Hope this helps.0 -
