Defaults on credit file after IVA

Options
I had a lump sum IVA which was completed in March 2015. I have been checking my credit file and several of my credit accounts, settled by the IVA, are listed as 'default', whereas others show default prior to the IVA but are listed as 'settled' after the IVA. One of my creditors sends me arrears notices for what should be settled accounts.

My questions are:

Should these accounts be listed as settled, as others are?
If that is the case, then what do I need to do to change these accounts to settled?

I appreciate any help!

Where you pay in a lump sum at start, rather than monthly payments, the lump sum normally has to come from an external source

Any debt you that wasn't excluded from the IVA should now be settled. I would send them a letter including the completion paperwork, if they refuse to put right threaten a refferal to the ICO. Often these issues are caused by miscommunication and not I'll intent from the creditor.

If you havent done so already I'd check your file with all three credit reference agencies

You need to send the copy and details of the account etc to the lenders credit controller. A list can be found online and a letter template is on the Martin Lewis site somewhere. The post bankruptcy template can be altered to send. Don't send to normal customer services as they will not do anything.

If you look at my previous tweets there is a template there from a while ago
