Exchange or refund in 30 days
Anyone ever managed (with success) to get a refund on a faulted used car from a main dealer within 30 days?
So far they have fobbed me off all week, so I submitted a formal complaint and request for a refund today.
I was told under the Consumer Rights Act one is entitled to a refund or replacement in 30 days.
Any advice on what to handle such situations?

It needs to be a major fault for you to have any chance of making a CRA refund stick.
What major fault has the car developed?
And if they dont want to facilitate that, then it would be up to you to take it to court to try to get it enforced. And that is messy and expensive and no guarantee of getting the outcome you want.
Also, if you've effectively rejected the car, i take it you've handed it back and therefore its beyond use?
All very good reasons why its best to make sure the car meets your expectations (a) before you commit to buy it and (b) before you accept it at handover.0 -
Involve Nissan UK Customer service if you havent done so already. They will help.0

Just a thought but if you've got multiple problems/issues with the same vehicle it might be an idea to have them all in one thread. That way people will be able to see what advice you've already been given without having to hunt through multiple threads.
It may well stop the same advice being repeated.0 -

Apologies, too many issues in this buying experience. Just wanted to know if others had any experience of demanding an refund or exchange in 30 days before.0 -
Don't apologise it was a suggestion not a criticism

Did you not say there was a 30 day exchange policy?
"Rejecting" a car is doable, but problematic.
I'd definitely by looping in Nissan UK0
