Holiday insurance for pre existing medical condition for family member NOT travelling

Hello this is my first time posting on this thread. My husband and I plan to go on a three week holiday to Tanzania. Our daughter has a life limiting pre-existing condition. We have already cancelled one holiday due to our daughter's condition and now we cannot get insurance to cover us. Please, is there any company who could help.

I would advise asking the charity that covers your daughter's condition, I know someone who got cover for serious kidney failure that way.

Sadly, MIL died recently from a brain tumour, we were told that the holiday we had booked at her diagnosis was covered but any subsequent holidays would not be if we needed to come home early for her. I don't think anyone would have covered us tbh so we weighed up the risk and had enough money spare for DH to fly back early if need be. I think this is what people mostly do as if you could manage to get cover it would be so high it may be cheaper to do as I suggested.

I thought this may be the case, but hoped not. Sadly, my daughter has such a rare condition, i doubt very much if the charity would help as it is not well known enough. Thank you anyway.
