Window Replacement

Hello,
We have been quoted £950 for a replacement window (57" x 47"), with the sill to be done in wood. Is this expensive? We are going to get a local guy in to give us another quote, but just wanted an idea.
The window is mostly fixed (ie. doesn't open) with two small opening windows at the top.
Thanks

We got another quote from a small local firm and they have quoted £350 + VAT, so well worth shopping around.marlasinger0
