Advice on PurePlanet - new gas / electricity supplier

Hi,

Anybody come across PurePlanet? (I’d post a URL but as a new user I’m not allowed - somewhat archaic - Google “pure planet energy supplier"). Anyway, they’re a new energy provider where by you pay a monthly membership fee and are charged wholesale energy prices.

Anybody using them? Does paying a monthly membership fee and being charged wholesale energy prices work out cheaper?

Remember, green energy isn't cheap, and the wholesale price of gas and electricity now accounts for less than 45p in every £ that people spend on energy.
