  • If you are unfortunate enough to have an account with this company make sure that your payments are lower than your usage because it is not until you leave them that you find that you cannot get back any money that your account is in credit. They only accept the final readings from the new supplier not the customer, and no matter how many times the new supplier sends them the readings they never receive them. Until they receive them they cannot produce a final bill, and will continue to charge you for the energy that they consider they are still providing, if you cancel the direct debit they take the charges out of the funds in credit. The latest delay tactic is that they want a date stamped photo of the meter, it is now 2 months since I switched. They are no better than thieves.
  • Hello
I’ve had a terrible experience with Solarplicity. Would not recommend them at all! Issues are on going. There is a private group on Facebook and we have an on going petition if anyone will sign it’s greatly appreciated.

    Sorry can’t post link yet

  • Hello,

Seems like this company is the worst energy supplier out there!

Keep getting estimate bills and it says i’m £350 in debt because they have the wrong meter reading, they have added my current gas usage on to my old meter readings, i’v called, emailed, nothing...

An engineer came out and seen the problem after looking at my gas bill and then my meter and assured me that the company was adding it on to my old meter readings and haven’t started from scratch.

He said he has forwarded the problem and to give it 7-14 working days, a month later, still nothing!

We are looking to move house in the next few month and have this so called “debt” hanging over us that isn’t actually right and i’m guessing they won’t let us cancel/swap until it’s sorted but after reading about them, and with my own experience i’m guessing this isn’t going to be an easy procedure!

    Any ideas or help?

    Thanks

    Jack
