Insurance for Empty House

Can anybody recommend the best place for about 6 months insurance on an empty house. Parent is in care and the house will be sold. Nothing of value in there apart from some furniture and we visit every week.

Won't the existing insurer accommodate this?0

Perhaps. We amended the insurance when the house became empty. It's up for renewal at the end of this month and I was looking to see if anybody had any ideas. The currant insurance covers it for very little0

Ah ok they've most likely restricted cover to FLEE (Fire, Lightning, Eathquake, Explosion).
If you google unoccupied property insurance a fair few would come up.
Towergate and Home Protect are big in this market, I can't comment on either'a cover or service though.
Any local broker may be your best bet.0
